A 50% deposit is due before commencement of work. This is held in a legal trust account until stage is completed, for both client and supplier security.
A 25% installment payment is due at lock up stage.
The balance of the invoice to be paid in full before any buildings leave the yard and within 7 days of practical completion. Buildings still in the yard after 7 days from practical completion will incur a storage fee of $200 per week.
All deposits paid are non refundable once works have commenced on your buildings or flat pack kits.
Transport costs can vary, New Zealand Kitset Cabins can provide an estimate for delivery at time of initial quote but this is subject to change and a firm quote will be provided close to time of delivery.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide insurance for the building or flat pack kits during transport. New Zealand Kitset Cabins accepts no responsibility for any damage that occurs during loading, transportation, unloading and installation of the building.
Transport costs include Crane Hire for loading and unloading, if supplying own transport, costs for crane hire are the responsibility of the purchaser.
All buildings going to cyclone regions will be certified for that region, engineer’s site assessment is the responsibility of the purchaser unless New Zealand Kitset Cabins is contracted to install the building, in which case an allowance will be made for this.
Additional costs arising from the engineers site assessment are the responsibility of the purchaser. This may include changes to the quoted price of the building as additional bracing and tie downs may be requested.
Any additions or alterations to the quoted specification must be agreed upon in writing before commencement of works.
All care will be taken by New Zealand Kitset Cabins to deliver within agreed time frame but no responsibility will be accepted for situations arising that are out of our control, such as inclement weather, materials availability and labor supply.
Time slots are allocated for each project in order of receiving deposits.
Any buildings purchased with plaster board linings can expect some cracking during transport that may need repairing once installed, no allowance has been made for this unless New Zealand Kitset Cabins has been contracted to install the building.
Transporting the building on unsealed roads is at the risk of the purchaser, no liabilities will be accepted by New Zealand Kitset Cabins what so ever for any damage incurred while being transported, and the cost of repairs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
All buildings finished in cool room panel can expect some minor blemishes, scratches and small dents, this is the nature of the product. Panels can have very minor imperfections from the manufacturing process, all attempts are made to limit these and are usually so small they are unnoticeable.
